Well its back to the grind for Tim. Poor Guy! Yesterday we found out that he did not pass the Nevada State Bar (he missed it by 3.7 points!!). We were both pretty disappointed, but what can you do?! Everyone (friends and family) have been so wonderful and supportive all along the way, especially when we shared the news yesterday with a handful of them. My brother Joe and Sister in Law Kathryn took the kids for the night. Tim and I meet my little brothers Nathan and Adam at the Las Vegas temple and we were all able to do a session together there. It was wonderful sitting in the Celestial room with three of my best friends ever. Tim felt the same way!
When I shared the news with Ellie (she and Gent pray for their dad to do well on the test in almost every prayer they give) she just said in a very understanding tone “Well he’ll just take it again and again and again until he does good”. I wish I was always able to have such simple/sweet views on life as my kids do. But she’s right! He'll just do it again and again and again until he does "good". What else can we do? Tim is amazing and such an example of optimism! He will continue doing his best and turning it over to the Lord.
But we do hope its not too many agains!

Sorry to hear! That's no fun to go through again and again and again. I understand, life just isn't a smooth ride sometimes. We'll keep you guys in our prayer too :)
I am sorry, but all is not lost. If he did that well on this test then next time he will pass with flying colors with you by his side!
You guys are some of the most amazing people I know and I know he'll do amazing next time!

Ruth, you are so wonderful. I told you that before, but I wanted to tell you again, that I just think you are the BOMB!!! Tell Tim to keep up the good work, and we pray for him all the time!
