Genty Moments

My older brother Joe and his wife Kathryn just added their fourth child to their family, baby Joshua. Of course our family loves and adores him. Our kids talk about him randomly through out the day. The other night while we were finishing up scripture study and family prayer Gent turns and looks at Tim and I and very thoughtfully asks "Do you think baby Jesus was as cute as baby Joshua?".

The other night as Gent was saying his prayer he added, "Please bless Joshua that he will grow up safely" to which Tim replied "Gent that was cool that you prayed for Joshua". Gent then said, " I prayed that he would grow up safely so he can get teeth...Why don't babies have teeth?"

Yesterday in church as we were sitting by baby Joshuah I turned to Gent and said "isn't he cute?" to which Gent responded. "Yeah, too cute!"

Some other cute experiences we've had with Gent
Tim was demonstrating how he would hold Gent when he would baptize him. Gent then said "It's like I'm being arrested".

Last night as I was listening in on Gent's personal prayers He said; "Dear Heavenly Father, thanks that today was a good day and please help me find elephant (a favorite stuffed animal of his). In the name of Jesus Christ Amen. I then asked "Oh are you missing elephant? I'll help you look for him". To which he responded,"don't worry, Heavenly Father will take care of it." Oh the faith of the little ones, but I think we need to have another lesson on prayers and how most of them are answered :).

Can't wait to meet our other brother and sister in law's baby Isaac. He too is a bundle of cuteness that I'm sure our little ones will eat up!

The arrested comment made me laugh out loud. He is so funny! It was so good to talk to you last night. I miss being able to walk across the hall to see you. :)
