Super Date
Las Vegas Temple
Tim took a half day off of work Friday so he and I could enjoy a super date. This is what we call an all day excursion with three or more activities. Aunt Kathryn was kind enough to take the kids at noon so Tim and I could start our date early and enjoy some wonderful alone time. Some of our activities included The Las Vegas temple, playing tennis, eating Hawaiian food (can't remember the name of the restaurant), and enjoying a Sonic Ice cream Sunday. I have to say the best part was just being able to talk to Tim without any interruption. I love and adore my kids but it's hard to get a word in edge wise with them around. Tim and I decided to play the question game for most of our drive in and out of Pahrump. We've been married for over six years and I still am learning new things about my husband. For example if he could have any exotic animal it would be a monkey or a Rhino and if he could have three businesses built here in Pahrump they would be a Borders, Tucanos, and a dollar movie theatre. He in return learned that I would get a chimpanzee or an elephant and that I would have them build a Mall, YMCA, and a Target. I think my favorite question was “What car would you buy if you could buy anything”. Not necessarily because of the question but Tim's answer. My answer was a "souped up" Chrysler Town and Country (Pretty lame but true) and his answer was some really-really fancy car called a Lamborghini Reventon so he could charge people to ride in it and with the extra money buy me a "souped up" Chrysler Town and Country and other nice things. What a good smart man!

I am glad you guys got some time alone. Next time I call dubs on watching the kids. Just Kidding. I know your not withholding them from me=) Love you!
I can't believe that is the car you would choose...although I have no idea what car I would choose. I don't really care all that much about cars I guess. I am glad that you had a great date. Who won at Tennis?
Oh wow! That sounds like fun! Maybe one of these days Luke and I will go out and a date that lasts a half an hour! LOL!
Thats so awesome you were able to go on a "super date" - it IS so fun to be together uninterrupted, huh? Are you guys still coming to California at the end of the month? If you are, and have a free minute we would LOVE to see you!
AAA Ruth! So nice to see your blog...I miss you guys! What an adorable family! Your daughter is lovely and your son is so cute!
Do you mind if I add you as a friend?
hey Ruth! I just finished "the lucky one" by nicholas sparks and it was good because it was different than his normal books. And I'm not working on "grace" by richard paul evans. it's really good. so try those! fun to hear from you!
Sounds like a pretty good day together. I really miss you guys.
Bill and I live in Issaquah and we just love how gorgeous it is here. The weather hasn't been too bad either. I hear the winter is rough. Let us know if you ever plan on living in this neck of the woods.
I love your car answers. That is way to funny. Bill's dream car is a Chrysler Town and Country too... lol!
What a cool idea to do a super date! And it sounds like you really made it worth it by making sure you got a lot of talking in. What a fun game to ask each other random questions. You are good examples of what all couples should take the time to do!
